Freshman Homecoming

Our Town tickets
The Theatre Departments production of Our Town opened this last weekend to a great audience reception! Our Town still has performances this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets are available in the Box Office in the quad at lunch and after school. Get yours soon! Tickets are going fast!
Homecoming Dance
You don’t want to miss this dance! We’re planning a black light event. Buy your ticket
at lunch this week and get a t-shirt that will glow in the black lights. The cost this week
with the t-shirt is $20 per ticket. Next week the cost will be $15, but you will not receive a
t-shirt.
Quiz Bowl Club
The Quiz Bowl Club meets this Wednesday in room 106G and Friday in room 128G after school. Future competitions will take place at UC Berkeley and Stanford University, and the Nationals will take place in either Chicago or Washington DC.
Radio Club
You’re invited to room 215 at lunch Wednesday to check out Radio Club and have lunch! You can be part of the crew on your high school radio station, KVCH!
Abolitionist Society
Tomorrow the Abolitionist Society will be having a bake sale after school in the quad. All proceeds will be going to the Nest, a safe house for minors who have been victims of human trafficking. Drop by and support the Nest!
Community Service Opportunities
Do you need community service? Mrs. Nardi is looking for help at a carnival on October 4th at Hayes Elementary School from 3:00 pm until about 9:30 pm. For more information, or to sign up, please see Mrs. Nardi in her in room, 111G.
Lexus of Stevens Creek is hosting the 3rd Annual Teen Volunteer Fair on Saturday, September 28th from 9:00 am to Noon. Almost 60 non-profit organizations will be available for teens to explore service opportunities or enrichment in an open house format. See Mrs. Smith for more information.
Senior Lifers
Attention all senior lifers! Please drop by the high school office at break or lunch and sign your name to the lifer list. It is very important that you give this information as soon as possible. Lifers are students that have been at Valley from Kindergarten on.
Badminton Club
There is a new VCHS Badminton Club. Drop by room 111 for an informational meeting on Friday, September 27 at lunch. There will be food provided for anyone interested in joining the badminton club.
Improv Team
Valley Christian’s first everimprov team, the “Improverbs,” will have their first brown bag performance this Friday, September 27th, in the theatre at lunch. Bring $1.00 and low expectations.
