Our Town premiered on Thursday, September 19th in the black box theatre.
The story unfolds in an ordinary small town in New Hampshire in the early 20th century. The show centers around the routine life of citizens of the town, especially focusing on two families, the Webbs and the Gibbs, showing the audience a variety of scenes, from love to death.
While the plot might not be convincing, the effort of the cast put into the show probably will. They really did exhibit excellence and relating to their characters.
It gives the audience “all the feels”, engaging the audience in laughter, sympathy or just that kind of feeling that can’t be expressed.
Lindsey, part of the crew in the show, said that it’s the talented cast that makes the show great.
One of the audience said that at first, he expected the show to be simply average and not exciting, but afterwards he thought it is “a well mixture of drama, tragedy and comedy.”
Our Town will be playing from Sept. 26-28 in 7 PM, make sure you get your tickets and also check out the website http://vctheatre.net/!
