It’s almost that time again, and STAK club has organized two trips to South Africa. One trip will be in February over Winter Break and the second will be in April over Spring Break. The first trip has filled up incredibly fast, but the second trip has many precious spots open! The STAK President, Brenda Muldoon, shares a story about one of the many awesome stories that she experienced last year on the Winter trip.

Mr. Falkowski and I were at Agnus’ house just sitting and talking with her for a while just about what we were going to do later that day. Mr. Falkowski pulled a cookie out of his backpack and gave it to her. She immediately turned around and gave a piece to the woman that helped her cook and her baby, and then a piece to the few teenager that lived there with her. When she came back she had a small piece the size of a quarter and said thank you with the biggest smile on her face. It was cool to see a woman so generous with the little she has and how she always went out of her way to help everyone around her.
