If you are interested in playing for the Valley Christian ice hockey team this year, please attend a meeting in room 128 at lunch on Friday. Please bring your lunch to the meeting with you.

Math Club
Today is the last day to turn in your Math Club applications and shirt orders. Bring your application and payment with you to math club at lunch. We will be doing a National competition today. It will be a no calculator, 15 minute competition. 9th &10th graders will meet in Room 302 with Dr. Shim and 11th & 12th grades in room 202 with Mrs. Smith. Also, today after school, there will be a scrimmage with a high school in New Jersey. Come to Room 202 with your iPad at 2:40 for 30 minutes of Math Madness.

Picture re-takes
Picture re-takes will be happening tomorrow in the lobby of the gym building beginning at 7:30 am.

Senior Lifers
Attention all Senior Lifers: Please drop by the High School office at break or lunch and put your name on the lifer list. It is very
important that you give this information as soon as possible. Lifers are students that have been at Valley from Kindegarten to Senior year.

Homecoming Dance
This year’s Homecoming Dance will take place AFTER the Varsity Homecoming football game. The dance will be in the large gym and will be a blacklight dance. Tickets will be on sale starting Monday. During the first week, you can get a ticket and a special shirt that will glow under the black lights for $20. After the first week, tickets will be $15 but no shirt will be included in the ticket price. Guest passes are available in the high school office and MUST be turned in by Friday, October 4th.

AMSE Seminar
AMSE Students, come to the first AMSE Seminar this Sunday, September 22 at 6:30 in the High School Theater! The speakers will be Dr. John Haburjak and Dr. Aimee Norris-Haburjak and they will be speaking about Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary Pathology. Seminars are an AMSE graduation requirement so try to attend as many as possible. You may even learn about a field that you have not previously considered. Parents, friends, and family are welcome to attend.

The seminar will begin promptly at 6:30.

Club Meeting
There is a mandatory meeting at lunch today in the main gym for all club advisors and presidents. Please make sure someone from your club is in attendance at the meeting. Guidelines will be given for this year and for the Club Fair on September 26th.
