Greece/Rome Trip
Do you want to see the monuments of ancient Greece and Rome? All High School students are welcome to join us as we travel to Europe this summer. Highlights of the trip include viewing Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel paintings, standing in the Coliseum, touring St. Peter’s Basilica, visiting the Pompeii ruins and the Parthenon, and observing the Corinth canal. This trip will be a spiritual experience, including devotions, community service, and walking in the footsteps of Paul. TONIGHT, there is a parent meeting at 7pm in room 216. Parents are encouraged to come to meet the trip chaperones and have all of their questions answered.
Environmental Club
Go to room 111 today for the Environmental Club meeting. We will play a short game, eat cookies, and plan for future projects.
Brown Bag
Drop in and see this week’s Brown Bag, Gray Matter. It is a simple, two person drama about a controversial issue directed by Kimberly Tien featuring Elise Mountsier and Zachary Campos. You can come see this production today, Wednesday, and Thursday at lunch in the High School theatre. Tickets are $1.00 at the door for each performance.
Boys Basketball
If you are interested in trying out for boys’ basketball, there is a mandatory meeting this Thursday the 31st in the main gym at the beginning of lunch. Come and learn details about upcoming tryouts which start on Monday!
FCA
Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club meets today in Coach Rolle’s room, 107G at lunch. Grab your lunch and head down to hear from San Jose State athletes this week!
Boys Soccer
Boys soccer informational meeting is Wednesday in the main gym immediately after chapel. Meeting is mandatory for anyone interested in trying out for the team this year.
Math Club
Math club shirts for those who ordered them are available to be picked up in Room 202 from Mrs. Smith at lunch or after school.
Sports Tryouts
Interested in playing basketball, soccer, or wrestling? These winter sports tryouts start Monday, November 4th! You must have all your paperwork turned in to the athletic office to tryout. Check the website for tryout times and locations.
