With a group of about 300 students, 6 large busses made their way up to Mount Hermon. On these busses, were eager seniors ready to bond with their class. Once at the top of the hill, they immediately divided into their teams, preset by the colors they were told to wear. Throughout the next 10 hours, these students were to create a stronger unity within their class. They started off with a welcoming chapel, praising and learning about God. Following the chapel, the students played series of games, such as Tug-of-war and basketball. Whichever team won, would get a point in their favor. After a long day of team-building activities, the seniors got to relax, free time to do whatever they pleased. Some took a dip in the campground pool, while others continued the high paced day with a game of football. As the day came to an end, they all hustled into the same small chapel, only to close with God in their hearts. Danny Ginther, senior on the black team, stated, “I bonded with my class, while having a great time!” As they returned back to Valley, there was a mindset throughout the students, that was not set on winning the games, but a thankfulness that their class was one big family.
