Missions Trips
If you are planning to go on the missions trip to Guatemala over the Winter Break, please plan to attend a mandatory meeting on Thursday at lunch in Room 208. There’s lots to talk about, please bring your lunch and be on time.
Soccer meeting
All students interested in playing boys or girls soccer this winter please attend a 10 minute informational meeting today at lunch in the main gym.
New parents to AMSE meeting
Students who are NEW to the AMSE program – Please remind your parents they need to come this Thursday, September 12th at 6:30 pm to the High School Theatre. In addition to Back to School Night, there is a mandatory meeting for New AMSE Parents with the Director of AMSE.

Quiz Bowl Club
Do you like Jeopardy? Are you interested in participating in a team to compete with other high schools and test your knowledge in your favorite subject? If so, join Quiz Bowl Club, one of the new and exciting AMSE clubs this year. The club meets today after school in room 106G. For more information contact quizbowl.vcs@gmail.com.
Student Life Center Closed
The student life center will close at 3:30 on Thursday to get ready for Back to School Night, however the library will be open until 6:00 pm.
Christian College Fair
Next Tuesday, September 17th, from 6-8pm VCHS will host the Christian College Fair. Over 40 Christian colleges from across the country will be in attendance. Come meet college reps and get information from a wide variety of colleges. All students who attend will be entered in a raffle to win $100.
Brown Bag Auditions
Auditions for this year’s Brown Bags will be held September 17th through the 20th at lunch in the theatre. Get more information in the Theatre Office and sign up for a time slot TODAY!!
Math Club
Math club meets Thursday at lunch, make sure to bring your iPads! Go to Room 302 for 9th and 10th grade and 202 for 11th and 12th grade.
Baseball meeting
There is a meeting today at lunch for all students planning on playing Spring baseball. The meeting will take place with Coach Diatte in the Baseball Clubhouse. Bring your lunch and be on time.
Back to School Night
Students, this Thursday is Back to School night for your parents. Please make sure they have your schedule with your room numbers. They can find this on PowerSchool under “quick look up.” Students with the last name beginning with A-L come at 4:00 and M-Z 7:00.
College Visit
Hope College is visiting today at lunch in room C307. Drop by and hear what this great school has to offer.
Athletic bags
Students, please do no leave your athletic bags in the gym lobby or anywhere around the campus. All bags found around campus will be brought to Mr. Machado’s office.
Picture re-takes
Picture re-takes will be September 20th in the gym lobby. If you plan on getting re-takes or have not had your picture taken, please get a picture form from the High School office.
